Yu liang 梁 堉

Yu Liang (pronounced as yoo-lyahng) is a lecturer of the Faculty of Information Technology at Beijing University of Technology, China. He received a Ph.D degree in 2022 from the School of Computer Science and Engineering and the Shen Yuan Honors College (an elite program), Beihang University, China, supervised by Prof. Wenjun Wu. He also received a BSc degree in 2017 from Beihang University (Summa Cum Laude).

Research

My research interests include intelligent software engineering, educational information technology, and multimodal human-computer interaction. My research is focused on using AI, machine learning, and related technologies to address fundamental societal needs and challenges.

Now my research mainly includes:
  • smart cities (especially education and grids)
  • intelligent image processing (object detection, image recognition)
  • affective computing (emotion recognition, physiological signal analysis)
